2. Quotes and Estimates

We do our best to provide accurate estimates. However, plumbing often involves working with hidden pipes and aging systems.

• Validity: Estimates are typically valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
• Unforeseen Conditions: If we discover issues that weren't apparent during the initial estimate (such as corroded pipes behind a wall or non-code-compliant previous work), we will stop and discuss the updated cost with you before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior arrangements have been made in writing. We accept major credit cards, checks, and digital payments as specified on your invoice.

For larger projects or installations (such as a full repipe or high-end fixture installation), we may require a deposit before work begins to cover materials and scheduling.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

We value your time and ask that you value ours. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a service call fee to cover our travel and lost time.

5. Worksite Access and Safety

To perform our work safely and efficiently, we require:

• Clear access to the work area and the main water shut-off valve.
• An adult (18+) to be present on-site unless other entry arrangements have been confirmed.
• Pets to be secured away from the work area for their safety and the safety of our technicians.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our craftsmanship.

• Labor: We provide a standard 1-year warranty on our labor for most repairs and installations.
• Parts: Parts and fixtures are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties. We will assist you in navigating those warranties if a part fails prematurely.
• Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover issues caused by "acts of God," customer negligence, drain clogs caused by improper use after a clearing, or work performed on existing systems that we did not install.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution, plumbing involves pressurized water and heavy machinery. Star Plumbing Co. LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, such as pipes that break during repair because they were already excessively corroded, or water damage from leaks that occurred prior to our arrival.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from our services or this website will be handled in the courts of Larimer County.
