Our Plumbing Service Area — Fort Collins & Northern Colorado
Star Plumbing Co. LLC is based in Fort Collins and serves communities across Northern Colorado — from the city neighborhoods to rural properties in the foothills and plains. If you're in Larimer or Weld County, there's a good chance we cover your area.
Primary Service Area
Fort Collins, CO — Our Home Base
We do a large portion of our work right here in Fort Collins. The city covers a lot of ground — older properties in the historic neighborhoods have different plumbing challenges than the newer subdivisions out east, and rural-adjacent areas on the city's edges often involve well systems or properties that were recently annexed. We're used to all of it.
In our experience, the kinds of calls we get from Fort Collins range from drain issues in older homes with original cast iron lines to water heater replacements in newer builds where the unit finally wore out. Septic calls come in from properties in the less-developed areas to the west and northwest. It's a varied city, plumbing-wise.
Here are the Fort Collins neighborhoods we work in regularly:
Don't see your neighborhood listed? We likely still cover it — the list above represents where we work most often, not a hard boundary. Give us a call and we'll confirm.

Rural Properties
We Know Rural Plumbing in Larimer County
A meaningful part of our work happens outside city limits. Northern Colorado has a lot of rural residential and agricultural properties that depend on private well and septic systems — and those systems have their own set of demands that not every plumber is set up to handle well.
We're familiar with Larimer County permitting requirements for septic work, the kinds of well depths and pump types common in this region, and the access challenges that come with more remote properties. We've worked on properties off dirt roads, on steep lots, and in places that require a bit more planning before you just show up with a truck.
Here's the thing about rural plumbing: when a well pump fails or a septic system backs up on a property outside city limits, you typically can't call the city. You need someone who handles the whole picture. That's what we do. Our well pump service and septic repair work covers everything from diagnosing a loss of pressure to full system replacements — and we handle the Larimer County permit coordination where that's required.
We believe rural homeowners deserve the same quality of service as in-town customers. In our experience, that's not always what they get. We try to close that gap.
Larimer County Permit Work
Certain septic and well projects require Larimer County permits. We handle the paperwork and coordination — you don't have to navigate that process on your own.
